As much as I love Rust, it is taking up too Large Oil Rig is way too OP (easy) and loot respawn time is too fast. Although there are actually two Oil Rigs in the works - one large, one small - we’ll only be seeing the small version in this update as a lot of focus went into reworking the AI (see more on that below).
Elite Crates can be found at the Launch Site, Military Tunnel and the Oil Rig monuments in procedural. These crates contain loot that tends to be more rare than red toolboxes and military crates.

Oil rig is one of the best monuments in Rust. There are two oil rigs, small and large. The small oil rig will usually yield around 750-1250 scrap and 100-200 HQM each time you do it. This includes doing the locked crate and the heavy scientists. I would use a Spas-12 Shotgun to do mass damage when taking down the Heavy Scientist.
